Updated look at the College World Series bracket with two spots still up for grabs
By late Monday night, the full College World Series bracket will be completely filled. There are still two spots in Omaha up for grabs entering the two winner-take-all Game 3s on Monday, but the CWS bracket is taking shape.
Six teams have already advanced to Omaha. Notre Dame punched its ticket with a victory in Game 3 over Tennessee, while Oklahoma took down North Carolina and Texas defeated East Carolina on Sunday. Ole Miss also advanced to Omaha on Sunday, picking up a Super Regional sweep over Southern Miss. Texas A&M was the first team to punch its ticket, sweeping Louisville and wrapping up that Super Regional on Saturday.
On Monday, two more tickets will be punched and the College World Series bracket will be finalized. Stanford and UConn kick things off with a 4 p.m. ET first pitch on ESPN 2. Auburn and Oregon State then face off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2 later on Monday night. The winner of those two games will advance to Omaha and will continue their trek towards a national title on Saturday.

Once the College World Series begins, it will be just like a traditional regional format. The eight teams in Omaha will be split into two different brackets. From there, in each bracket the winners of the opening games will face off in the winners bracket, while the losers will look to stave off elimination in the losers bracket. The opening weekend of the College World Series will be double elimination, and the two teams to advance out of their respective brackets will advance to the championship round.
The full schedule has also been released for the final Super Regional action on Monday. With a lot at stake this afternoon, plenty of eyes will certainly be on these decisive Game 3s. Here is a full look at the bracket for Omaha prior to Monday’s action.
