Some Super Regional tickets were punched Sunday, but more are there for the taking Monday. If-necessary games highlight the Monday slate, and the NCAA has released the updated schedule, bracket and TV designations.

Multiple teams sealed appearances to the Super Regional, including two teams that didn’t host their respective regionals. Tennessee came out of the Clemson Regional in interesting fashion. After handling Charlotte well in Game 1, the Vols played Clemson in a game that went 14 innings. Tennessee wound up winning 6-5, and the No. 4-seeded Tigers had to turn around and play a game Sunday at noon ET. Clemson lost that game 3-2, setting up a rematch between the 49ers and Tennessee in the regional final.

The Volunteers had no trouble at all Sunday afternoon in a 9-2 victory to advance to the next round.

In the Coral Gables Regional, Texas made its way through without much issue. The Longhorns beat Louisiana in the first game and knocked off Miami 4-1 in their second game. The Hurricanes then beat the Ragin’ Cajuns in the elimination game, setting up another game against Texas. In a higher-scoring affair, the Longhorns advanced to the Supers with a 10-6 victory over Miami.

Now, it’s on to the Super Regional round, which will move to a Best of 3 format. The winners of those series will punch their tickets to Omaha for the College World Series later this month.

But first, there are a few if-necessary games on tap for Monday to lock up the last of the Super Regional bids. Some host teams — including the top three seeds in the field — are still playing for their tournament lives with Omaha in their sites. The NCAA has announced the first pitch times and the TV designation for those games.
