Updated top 25 classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

National Signing Day is just two days away for the class of 2025, and prospects all around the country will have three days to sign with the school of their choice in the Early Signing Period.
Commitments, decommitments and flips could still be in the works among several recruiting classes — and the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings could see plenty of movement in the days to come.
Below are the top 25 classes in the 2025 cycle. We break down which programs have the top prospects in the country.
1. Georgia — 93.473
4 five-stars | 20 four-stars | 4 three-stars | 28 total commits
Top Commit: Savannah Christian Prep (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ DL Elijah Griffin, No. 5 NATL. (No. 1 DL).
Georgia is known for its defense on the field, and the Bulldogs’ 2025 recruiting class certainly mirrors that. Defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, edge rusher Isaiah Gibson and linebacker Zayden Walker headline this class for the Red and Black for a defensive front that no offensive line will want to block in a couple of years.
Geneva Community (Ill.) wide receiver Talyn Taylor is one of the top wideouts in the country and joined the class back in June. Similarly, Elyiss Williams is one of the nation’s best tight ends and adds another receiving target for Findlay (Ohio) quarterback Ryan Montgomery. On Nov. 30, the ‘Dawgs flipped Athens native and former Boise State commit Hezekiah Millender.
2. Alabama — 93.361
4 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ QB Keelon Russell, No. 3 NATL. (No. 3 QB).
Alabama once held the top spot in this rankings earlier this fall, but losing five-star receiver Caleb Cunningham, star EDGE Dawson Merritt and blue-chip running back Anthony Rogers this month knocked the Tide down a bit.
Still, the class is loaded with talent. Alabama flipped five-star quarterback Keelon Russell away from SMU in June, and he is set to be protected by elite offensive linemen Ty Haywood, Michael Carroll and Jackson Lloyd. Akylin Dear is a weapon out of the backfield, and Dijon Lee and Justin Hill provide some power to the defense.
3. Ohio State — 93.211
3 five-stars | 16 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 25 total commits
Top Commit: Bellefontaine (Ohio) Five-Star Plus+ QB Tavien St. Clair, No. 2 NATL. (No. 2 QB).
Ohio State picked up its crown jewel of the 2025 recruiting class early on in the cycle when it landed in-state five-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair in June 2023. St. Clair will have a talented group of receivers to target with blue-chips Quincy Porter, Phillip Bell, De’zie Jones and Bodpegn Miller.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Buckeyes have two of the nation’s best cornerbacks in this class: Houston North Shore’s Devin Sanchez and Birmingham (Ala.) Parker’s Na’eem Offord. Elite linebacker Riley Pettijohn and star safety Faheem Delane join Sanchez and Offord in the top 100. Four-star edge rushers Zahir Mathis and London Merritt both decommitted from the Buckeyes in November — before Merritt pledged to Colorado on Nov. 28.
4. Texas — 92.974
3 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 23 total commits
Top Commit: Galveston (Texas) Ball Five-Star Plus+ safety Jonah Williams, No. 11 NATL. (No. 1 S).
August was a special month for Steve Sarkisian’s staff on the recruiting trail. The Longhorns added a trio of elite recruits in Galveston (Texas) Ball safety Jonah Williams, Sachse (Texas) wide receiver Kaliq Lockett and Jacksonville Mandarin wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.
Elite edge rusher Lance Jackson pledged to UT back in January as one of the earliest commitments of the cycle. Also included in this elite defensive class for the Longhorns are Dallas Skyline linebacker Elijah Barnes, Houston Alief Hastings EDGE Smith Orogbo and Port Charlotte defensive lineman Myron Charles.
5. Auburn — 92.692
1 five-star | 15 four-stars | 10 three-stars | 26 total commits
Top Commit: Lucedale (Miss.) George County five-star QB Deuce Knight, No. 27 NATL. (No. 5 QB).
Auburn pulled off one of the steals of the cycle in early October by flipping elite quarterback Deuce Knight away from Notre Dame. Since late July, the Tigers have also landed edge rusher Jared Smith, safety Anquon Fegans, athlete Derick Smith, defensive lineman Nate Marshall and others.
Enterprise (Ala.) safety Eric Winters, Opelika (Ala.) defensive lineman Malik Autry, running back Alvin Henderson and Highland Home (Ala.) Jakaleb Faulk provide some additional in-state talent for Auburn.
6. LSU — 92.489
2 five-stars | 16 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 25 total commits
Top Commit: Zephyrhills Five-Star Plus+ CB DJ Pickett, No. 10 NATL. (No. 2 CB).
LSU was on the bad end of the biggest recruiting splash of the cycle when Michigan flipped No. 1 overall prospect Bryce Underwood in November. Five-star cornerback DJ Pickett and five-star running back Harlem Berry do remain in the Tigers’ top-10 class.
Marion’s (Ark.) Carius Curne and Laurel’s (Miss.) Tyler Miller add some muscle on the offensive line, while cornerback Kade Phillips, linebacker Charles Ross and EDGE Damien Shanklin make for a solid defensive class.
7. Oregon — 92.278
3 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 17 total commits
Top Commit: Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ WR Dakorien Moore, No. 4 NATL. (No. 1 WR).
Although comparatively small, Oregon’s 2025 class is loaded with talent at the top. Dakorien Moore is the top receiver in the nation and was once an LSU commit. He’s joined by elite receiver Dallas Wilson and safety Trey McNutt at the top of the list for the Ducks.
Alongside McNutt in the defensive secondary are star cornerbacks Brandon Finney and Dorian Brew. Las Vegas Bishop Gorman’s Douglas Utu and Tampa Carrollwood Day’s Ziyare Addison are stout offensive line additions.
8. Michigan — 91.885
2 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 20 total commits
Top Commit: Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ QB Bryce Underwood, No. 1 NATL. (No. 1 QB).
Five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola was easily the shining prospect of this class for Michigan — until No. 1 overall quarterback Bryce Underwood sat down right next to him. The Wolverines flipped the in-state Underwood away from LSU on Nov. 21.
The Wolverines flipped Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale cornerback Shamari Earls away from Georgia earlier this month. Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh tight end Andrew Olesh is one of the top prospects at his position. Top-100 Lone Star State wide receiver Andrew Marsh should prove to be a talented target for Underwood down the road.
9. Tennessee — 91.322
1 five-star | 12 four-stars | 11 three-stars | 24 total commits
Top Commit: Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School Five-Star Plus+ OT Providence Day School, No. 6 NATL. (No. 1 OT).
Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. is the star of this recruiting class for Tennessee. The Vols landed Sanders over Ohio State, Nebraska and Georgia. On the flip side in the trenches is Elkhart Central (Ind.) EDGE Mariyon Dye, one of the top edge rushers in 2025.
Nashville Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre will have top prominent targets in his offense with Derby (Kan.) tight end DaSaahn Brame and Atlanta Westlake wide receiver Travis Smith.

10. Miami — 91.274
0 five-stars | 17 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 23 total commits
Top Commit: Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star safety Hylton Stubbs, No. 58 NATL. (No. 4 S).
July was a productive month for the Hurricanes on the recruiting trail, landing two of their top three recruits in the class. Jacksonville Mandarin Hylton Stubbs chose to switch tracks and stay in the Sunshine State instead of rolling with USC. One day later, Miami added Las Vegas Bishop Gorman interior offensive lineman SJ Alofaituli.
Blue-chip wide receiver Joshua Moore should be a solid target for rising quarterback Luke Nickel.
11. Texas A&M — 91.205
0 five-stars | 15 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill four-star CB Adonyss Currie, No. 66 NATL. (No. 9 CB).
The centerpiece of Texas A&M’s 2025 class was Corona (Calif.) Centennial five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet. After Julian Lewis decommitted from USC this month, Longstreet then flipped to the in-state Trojans. But all worked out well for the Aggies — they flipped Michigan 2026 four-star quarterback commit Brady Hart, and he reclassified to 2025.
With four of their top five commits coming on the defensive side of the ball, the Aggies are setting themselves up for a stout defense down the line. The class is headlined by Bellville (Texas) defensive lineman DJ Sanders, Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill cornerback Adonyss Currie, La Verne (Calif.) Bonita linebacker Noah Mikhail and Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge cornerback Jamar Beal-Goines.
12. Notre Dame — 90.791
1 five-star | 12 four-stars | 10 three-stars | 23 total commits
Top Commit: Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall four-star OT Will Black, No. 26 NATL. (No. 6 OT).
Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall offensive tackle Will Black has long been one of On3’s highest-rated prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. He’s joined on offense by blue-chip tight end James Flanigan and offensive linemen Owen Strebig and Cameron Herron. Vancouver (B.C.) Brunswick quarterback Blake Hebert committed to the Irish 12 days after Deuce Knight flipped to Auburn.
The top of the class is loaded with defensive talent, including Chicago Simeon EDGE Christopher Burgess, Tampa Berkeley Prep cornerback Dallas Golden, Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor safety JaDon Blair and Indianapolis Ben Davis cornerback Mark Zackery.
13. Oklahoma — 90.578
1 five-star | 11 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Lewisville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ OT Michael Fasusi, No. 13 NATL. (No. 2 OT).
The offensive line leads the way for Oklahoma in this class — something at which no program would turn up its nose. Lewisville (Texas) five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi committed to the Sooners in August, while coveted OT Ryan Fodje joined the class fairly early back in February.
The Sooners no longer have a quarterback committed in this class, but whoever takes up the mantle will have plenty of weapons in four-star receivers Cortez Mills, Elijah Thomas, Marcus Harris and Emmanuel Choice.
14. Florida — 90.547
0 five-stars | 12 four-stars | 10 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Orlando (Fla.) Jones four-star WR Vernell Brown III, No. 45 NATL. (No. 9 WR)
Florida has been on an absolute recruiting tear of late. Since affirming Billy Napier’s future as head coach and pulling off some major wins on the field, the Gators have seen an influx of talent to their 2025 class.
In November alone, Florida has landed four-star EDGE Jayden Woods, four-star linebacker Ty Jackson, four-star offensive tackle Tavaris Dice, four-star running back Byron Louis, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones, defensive lineman Stephon Shivers, offensive tackle Jahari Medlock, IOL Daniel Pierre Louis and wide receiver Muizz Tounkara.
15. Penn State — 89.979
0 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 12 three-stars | 25 total commits
Top Commit: Paramus (N.J.) Paramus Catholic four-star OT Malachi Goodman, No. 88 NATL. (No. 9 OT).
Paramus Catholic (N.J.) offensive tackle Malachi Goodman leads the way for Penn State’s 2025 class.
Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei cornerback Daryus Dixson, Latrobe (Pa.) Greater Latrobe linebacker Alex Tatsch and Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph cornerback Jahmir Joseph add to a stellar defensive class. Three-star quarterback Bekkem Kritza is the singal-caller for this cycle. The most recent commitment comes from On300 Buckeye State edge rusher Chaz Coleman.
