The latest USA Today Coaches Poll top 25 rankings are here after Week 6 of the college football regular season.

We had some upsets this weekend and there were big shifts in the rankings, particularly in the top 10. Namely, Oklahoma beat Texas and shook things up at the halfway point of the year.

Let’s dive into the latest top 25 rankings courtesy of the USA Today coaches poll.

1. Georgia

(Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports)

Georgia absolutely stomped Kentucky Saturday night to get back to its dominant self. It was the most complete game of the year.

After the Wildcats moved into the top 20 last week, they had something cooking. But not in Athens as Georgia ran away with it 51-13, including a 34-7 lead at halftime.

2. Michigan

(Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports)

Hey there Michigan, just keep on winning. The Wolverines don’t have the strongest schedule in the world, but you play who you play.

This time around, Michigan won 52-10 on the road at Minnesota to improve to 6-0 on the year. JJ McCarthy scored three total touchdowns and the offense was very balanced. That defense is still legit too.

3. Ohio State

(Barbara J. Perenic/The Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Ohio State struggled with Maryland to start out the first half at home in the Horseshoe. However, the Buckeyes finally woke up and ran away from the Terps.

It was a popular upset pick this week, but the Buckeyes did what the Buckeyes do and kept pace with Michigan this season. Kyle McCord had his moments and the defense made life miserable for Taulia Tagovailoa.

4. Florida State (+1)

(Alicia Devine_Tallahassee Democrat _ USA TODAY NETWORK)

Florida State went on cruise control after a while in the 39-17 win over Virginia Tech. The Seminoles were up 22-0 after the first quarter.

Jordan Travis tossed two touchdowns but the star of the offense was Trey Benson out of the backfield. Benson finished with 11 carries for 200 yards and two touchdowns. What a day.

5. Penn State (+1)

(David Banks-USA TODAY Sports)

Penn State had the week off so the Nittany Lions could watch the chaos unfold in front of them. PSU is still undefeated and return to action this weekend hosting UMass.

That’s basically a warmup, so to speak, before the team heads to Columbus to take Ohio State. This is one of the best teams in the country this season, but it’s almost time to truly prove it.

6. Washington (+2)

(Zachary BonDurant-USA TODAY Sports)

Washington had the weekend off but the Huskies will take on Oregon this coming weekend in a much anticipated top 10 showdown in college football. Good thing for the Huskies? They host.

Michael Penix Jr. is in the Heisman conversation and he could very well win this coming game on his own. Get your popcorn ready.

7. Oklahoma (+5)

(BRYAN TERRY_THE OKLAHOMAN _ USA TODAY NETWORK)

Oklahoma scored the biggest win of the weekend with an epic victory over Texas. The Red River Rivalry lived up to the hype in a back and forth affair.

Dillon Gabriel was the hero and now the Sooners are the top dogs in the Big 12. We could very well see this matchup once again in the conference title game, but for now, it’s Sooner time.

8. Oregon (+1)

(Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports)

Speaking of Oregon, the Ducks had the weekend off as well. Even with these two teams off, it’s fair to say Oregon and Washington could be the best two in the Pac-12.

We’ll get an answer as to who’s the best right now once this game happens Saturday afternoon. Like Penix Jr., Bo Nix is firmly a Heisman contender. These are two of the best quarterbacks in the game.

9. USC (-2)

(Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports)

USC is still hanging in there despite a triple-overtime win over Arizona. What’s worse though, USC had to get this done at home.

The WIldcats came to play and nearly pulled off the upset, if it weren’t for a failed two-point conversion attempt. Caleb Williams is great. The Trojans’ defense? Not so much.

10. Alabama

(Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports)

Alabama escaped Texas A&M with a win and questionable play calling in the end aside, the Crimson Tide kept it rolling since the loss to Texas. Alabama is the favorite in the SEC West again and has a path to the playoff.

Jalen Milroe had a good game, despite an interception. He tossed three touchdowns and kept the offense rolling on an average day running the football.
