USC 5-star commit Domani Jackson wears Alabama hoodie during visit

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star cornerback and USC commit Domani Jackson was in Tuscaloosa, Ala., this weekend for Alabama‘s primetime game versus LSU.
For the first time since playing high school ball together, Jackson and Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young were wearing the same colors.
In an Instagram Live posted by Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson five-star EDGE Jeremiah Alexander, Jackson is wearing a red Nike sweatshirt with a the famous script A of Alabama across the chest. Jackson, who knows he is being recorded, laughs and tries to cover up the logo.
Domani Jackson is a part of an exclusive recruiting group
Domani Jackson is one of only four players ranked as Five Star Plus+ prospects in the 2022 class. Players earn that recognition when they are ranked by all four major recruiting media companies as a five-star recruit.
The other three are Five Star Plus+ recruits are Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill athlete Travis Hunter, Powell (Tenn.) High defensive lineman Walter Nolen and Frisco (Texas) Liberty receiver Evan Stewart.
The On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies — has Jackson ranked as the fifth-best player in the country and the No. 1 pure cornerback in the nation.
Jackson has been a USC commit since January but both Michigan and Alabama have been pushing hard since Clay Helton was fired.

Alabama has the No. 1 recruiting class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking, and a commitment from Jackson might help it secure that ranking for good.
Jackson would be the team’s fifth five-star commit. He would bolster the already solid defensive back class.
Oxford (Ala.) Thompson four-star cornerback Trequon Fegans, No. 117 in the On3 Consensus, is the only cornerback commit in the class while Anniston (Ala.) Anniston Sch four-star Antonio Kite and Buford (Ga.) four-star Jake Pope are the Crimson Tide’s safety recruits.
But Jackson is still committed to USC. And whether he sticks to his pledge or flips will likely depend on who is the next Trojans head coach.
