Easter Scouting Report
“Jerry Easter has a strong frame, with long arms, and broad shoulders. He has a good first step, and he attempts to touch the paint on most possessions. He has a solid change of pace and his physical strength allows him to absorb the contact he seeks out when getting downhill. He needs to continue working on his processing. As he gets into the teeth of the defense, the decision making can be shaky. He is a competitor and not afraid of the moment. Easter is a streaky jump shooter with inconsistent release and balance points. He plays a fearless style and will keep coming at you throughout the course of a game. He is at his best playing as a secondary initiator. Like to see him continue to learn how to play without the ball in his hands. He has the physicality, quick hands, and anticipation to be a good defensive player, both on and off the ball. Continue working on feel. The competitive fire is there.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
