On300 QB and USC commit Devin Brown scheduling official visit to Texas

The recruitment of On300 quarterback and USC verbal Devin Brown (Draper, Utah/Corner Canyon) continues to heat up.
Brown, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, made an official visit to Ole Miss on October 9, and is tentatively scheduled to make an official to Texas on November 13.
The Longhorns are finishing up plans to host the No. 63 ranked prospect in the On300. Brown told On3 that he has been in contact with Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach A.J. Milwee.
The USC verbal continues to field calls from new programs looking to enter the chase for the 4-star prospect. One of those is Texas A&M.
Ohio State and UCLA are among the programs contacting Brown along with USC, Ole Miss, Texas, and Texas A&M. The Buckeyes extended an offer October 12. UCLA offered in mid-September. California also extended and offer September 22.

Brown and family watched Ole Miss beat Arkansas 52-51 in a thriller. While he does talk to Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin, the majority of his contact has been with Jeff Lebby.
Brown played his sophomore and junior seasons at Queen Creek High in Arizona. He completed 251 of 453 passes for 3,080 yards and 28 touchdowns with 18 interceptions. He transferred to Corner Canyon for his senior campaign. The athletic signal-caller has led the Chargers to a 9-1 record this season passing for 3,557 yards and 40 touchdowns (11 interceptions). He’s added 247 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
Prior to his senior season, Devin Brown shined at Elite11. His quick release, reactive quickness, overall agility and arm strength impressed the On3 staff in attendance.
