Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon four-star offensive lineman Esun Tafa will play his college football at USC.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Tafa chose the Trojans over an offer list that also included Washington, Utah, UCLA and Texas A&M among others.

“I love California,” Tafa told On3. “My mom was born and raised in Tustin/Santa Ana, Orange County so I’ve grown to love it as we’ve visited over the years.

“USC is the school my family are big-time fans of since they’re from Cali. USC’s culture and tradition to me is next level and I just want to be a part of rebuilding the winning tradition.”

Tafa adds to a USC class that the On3 Industry already ranked No. 1 nationally. He is the second offensive lineman in the fold joining John Fifita.

Head coach Lincoln Riley, position coach Zach Hanson and the Trojans extended a scholarship at the end of January so things picked up quickly between the Big Ten program and Tafa.

“I think I will fit in great with their offensive scheme and really excited to be coached by Riley and Hanson. The 2026 class they’re building is going to be crazy, I need to be a part of that, I know I can contribute a lot.”

Tafa has set his official to USC for June 13. He recently spoke highly of the Trojans with WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader.

“The tradition and winning history is huge,” he said. “My mom’s family were born and raised in Orange County, so USC was their favorite for football and volleyball, and even more now that I’ve been offered.

“I think with the coaching changes, the energy is really high. Also 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes look really good. Overall a lot of positive things going on at USC that make me very excited for the future.”

The On3 Industry tabs Tafa as the nation’s No. 15 interior offensive lineman and No. 223 prospect overall.
