USC leaps into top 10 of On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with 5-star commitment
USC has added another five-star recruit to its 2025 class, jumping five spots to No. 10 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Joining Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, West Jordan (Utah) Corner Canyon five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles committed to the Trojans on Wednesday.
A former Ole Miss pledge, Myles chose USC over Texas A&M and Utah.
Myles is the nation’s No. 26 overall prospect, No. 5 wide receiver and No. 1 recruit from Utah in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3 National Scout Cody Bellaire writes this of Myles:
“Jerome Myles has always been a physical and athletic creature at the receiver position, but we wanted to see more development in overall receiver traits from his senior tape. It took all of one game for Myles to show off his development as a deep ball tracker and overall ball skills. Combine that with his already-established YAC ability and top-end speed? Myles could make a case as the biggest senior riser in the entire country regardless of position come signing day. We hope to see him bounce back from an early season knee injury.”

USC class breakdown
Carrollton (Ga.) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis has been a longtime member of this group since he committed last August — initially as a member of the class of 2026.
Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge four-star Ty Jackson and San Clemente (Calif.) four-star Matai Tagoa’i are an elite linebacker duo. They’re backed up in the secondary by Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central safety Kendarius Reddick and Upland (Calif.) cornerback Trestin Castro.
Ty Jackson — the No. 2 linebacker in the On300 — just joined the class on Sept. 8.
Additional blue-chip pledges for the Trojans include Buford (Ga.) linebacker Jadon Perlotte, Mobile (Ala.) Williamson offensive tackle Carde Smith, Los Angeles Oaks Christian EDGE Hayden Lowe, Saint Louis Christian Brothers College wide receiver Corey Simms, Houston Dekaney wide receiver Tanook Hines and Dinwiddie (Va.) running back Harry Dalton.
