USC adds Reggie Bush, Caleb Williams jerseys to Heisman winners at Memorial Coliseum
It’s no secret that USC has some of the richest history of all football programs at the college level. Highlighted by having more winners of college football’s most prestigious individual award, the Heisman Trophy, than any other school with eight total winners.
USC’s most recent winner and re-winner of the Heisman trophy were recognized at the Trojans’ home stadium Memorial Coliseum. Where 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams‘ jersey banner now hangs alongside the program’s other winners and new addition Reggie Bush. Who’s 2005 Heisman Trophy was reinstated by The Heisman Trust earlier this year.

Bush was forced to voluntarily forfeit his Heisman Trophy following an NCAA investigation in 2010 that revealed him receiving illegal payments. But on April 25, his Heisman Trophy was reinstated because of ‘enormous changes in the college football landscape’ with college athletes now allowed to be paid using their name, image, and likeness.
The reinstatement of Bush’s Heisman set his historic 2005 season for the Trojans back in stone after leading the country in all-purpose yardage. Rushing for 1,658 yards and 15 touchdowns, catching 31 passes for 383 yards and two scores through the air, and racking up 570 return yards between kickoffs and punts including an 84-yard punt return score.
Bush rightfully received his proper recognition for his Heisman Trophy this year, as he and Williams will now see their numbers amongst other USC greats whenever they return to Memorial Coliseum.
