Utah wide receiver Mycah Pittman enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Utah wide receiver Mycah Pittman has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Wednesday night, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. He hauled in six catches for 50 yards this season for the Utes. Before joining Utah, Pittman played three years for the Oregon Ducks and one year for the Florida State Seminoles. For his career, he’s hauled in 79 catches for 947 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

As a returner, Pittman also has 47 attempts for 398 return yards.

Pittman had 32 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns in his lone season with Florida State after transferring from Oregon. In three years with the Ducks, he totaled 38 receptions for 547 yards and two touchdowns.

Pittman earned All-ACC honors as a specialist in 2022, earning honorable mention honors. He ranked second in the ACC and 15th nationally in yards per punt return (9.4 yards per return). Pittman hauled in a career-high 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns (five catches) against Wake Forest in 2022. His career-long 34-yard punt return came in a game in which he tallied a career-best 119 all-purpose yards against the Demon Deacons.

Pittman played high school football at Calabasas (Calif.), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 98 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. During his highly decorated high school career, Pittman finished with 177 catches for 3,129 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns. He also tallied 60 catches for 1,027 yards and 11 touchdowns his junior year.

As a sophomore at Oaks Christian, Pittman hauled in 55 catches for 1,329 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
