One of the top quarterbacks available in the NCAA transfer portal is Anthony Colandrea. The now-former Virginia product is ready to take visits and continue the process.

According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Colandrea has set three trips within the next two weeks. Two dates are confirmed, heading to Ole Miss on Dec. 14 and Pitt on Dec. 16. Syracuse will host the transfer QB as well “sometime next week.”

Per the On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings, Colandrea is the No. 61 overall player and No. 7 quarterback to enter this cycle. On3 is a little higher on him, ranking Colandrea 16th and as the third quarterback.

If one of Ole Miss, Pitt, or Syracuse does wind up landing Colandrea, a nice player will be heading their way.

Colandrea played in 11 games last season with Virginia, throwing for 2,125 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. His completion percentage was just a couple ticks above 60% at 61.9%. Numbers Colandrea is likely hoping to improve at his next stop, especially if there is a talent upgrade surrounding him.

Pitt actually got a first-hand look at what Colandrea has to offer in early November. Virginia came to town and walked away 24-19 winners. Colandrea threw for 143 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions while rushing for 40 yards too.

There was no matchup against Syracuse this season despite being ACC foes. Even if you go back to the 2023 season when Colandrea was a true freshman, he never faced off against the Orange.

Colandrea played high school football at Saint Petersburg (FL) Lakewood, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,456 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

A timeline for when the quarterback could make a decision on his future has not yet been determined.
