Washington RB Cameron Davis commits to Minnesota
Washington running back Cameron Davis tells On3 that he has committed to Minnesota. The 2025 season will be his seventh season of college football.
Davis visited Minnesota this weekend, deciding to commit to the Golden Gophers. He missed the 2023 season with a torn ACL. In his six seasons with the Huskies, he rushed for 1,093 yards and 15 touchdowns. His best season came in 2022 when he averaged 4.9 yards per carry and tallied 13 scores.
The Washington transfer was also a factor in the passing game, posting 52 catches for 434 yards in his time with the Huskies.

Davis is Minnesota’s second running back addition. The Golden Gophers have already added Marshall transfer running back AJ Turner. The second-team All-Sun Belt selection averaged 8.3 yards per carry in 2024.
Star running back Darius Taylor is also expected back for the 2025 season. In two seasons with Minnesota, he’s rushed for 1,672 career yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s also averaged 5.2 yards per carry.
