WATCH: 2024 4-star ATH Aneyas Williams takes off for 80-yard touchdown
Hannibal (Mo.) four-star athlete Aneyas Williams continued his strong junior season on Saturday night against Troy (Mo.) Troy-Buchanan. Despite a 42-40 loss, he scored multiple touchdowns, highlighted by an 80-yard score.
On the long run, Williams received a handoff and proceeded to weave his way through opposing defenders. The 5-foot-10, 195 pound prospect then took off down the left sideline for a touchdown.
Williams is the No. 239 overall prospect and No. 21 athlete in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Missouri.
The four-star has received 23 offers from programs including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame and USC. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment. The Fighting Irish currently have the best chance for Williams’ pledge at 28.8%, while Kentucky has the next-best chance at 17.1%.

Williams told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons in August that his recruitment is wide open.
“I don’t have a favorite anywhere, at all” Williams said. “That’s why this process has been so fun. I mean, I really just got an open mind. It’s all been awesome, like first impressions. But really what I’m looking for is obviously the depth of the running back room and then how they’re gonna use me. I always ask that question and then like, how long will the coaching staff be there, which obviously, they don’t know 100% of the time, but just really relationships with coaches.
“And then obviously education… and then just the family of the team. I would watch for how players talk and interact amongst the team.”
Williams has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
