Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy defeated Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson 24-14 on Saturday night. A key reason for the win was 2024 four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley.

As Thompson running back AJ Green ran towards the end zone, the ball was stripped from his hands. Beasley was there to pick up and raced 99 yards down the left sideline for a touchdown.

A 6-foot-0.5, 180 pound defensive back, Beasley is the No. 191 overall prospect and No. 21 cornerback in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Tennessee.

Beasley released a top 10 in July of Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State and Tennessee. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Fighting Irish have a commanding lead for his commitment at 83.5%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Notre Dame has been pushing hard for Beasley. He recently detailed the Fighting Irish’s recruiting efforts to Blue & Gold’s Mike Singer.

“It’s going really well,” Beasley told Singer. “I just talked to them before my game with my dad. The relationship is great with Coach [Mike] Mickens, Coach [Chris] O’Leary and Coach [Marcus] Freeman. It’s been great.

“We were talking about my upcoming game and they told me they wanted me to call them after it, too.”

Beasley has an On3 NIL Valuation of $20K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
