WATCH: 2024 4-star QB Jadyn Davis throws perfectly placed touchdown

Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis is one of the top signal-callers in the 2024 class. He continued to demonstrate why on Friday night against Rabun Gap (Ga.) Rabun Gap-Nacoochee.

Less than 15 yards from the goal line, Davis dropped back to pass before sending a throw towards the back right side of the end zone. His timing and accuracy led to a phenomenal touchdown toss to three-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin.

The 6-foot-0.5, 190 pound prospect is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in North Carolina. 

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Michigan has a commanding lead to land Davis’ commitment at 62.1%. He last visited the Wolverines on Sept. 10.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Davis has an On3 NIL Valuation of $158K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Davis demonstrated his skillset at the Overtime OT7 seven-on-seven tournament over the summer. On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power broke down his performance.

As noted above, we saw Davis connect with top 50 wide receiver Noah Rogers on several deep touchdowns throughout the day. Davis saw his play dip a bit after the first day, missing a few throws high. He can continue to improve his accuracy on a throw-to-throw basis.”
