WATCH: 2024 linebacker Sammy Brown power cleans 365 pounds
Jefferson (Ga.) four-star prospect Sammy Brown is an imposing linebacker, both on the field and in the weight room.
Brown posted a video Wednesday of himself power cleaning 365 pounds. Not only did he show off lifting big weights but Brown also demonstrated some excellent from on each rep — which not something recruits always show on their workout videos.
Brown is the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is also the No. 1 linebacker in the class and No. 1 player from the state of Georgia.
Despite it being early in his recruitment, Brown already has an idea of what he wants out of a school.
“Culture is really everything about a place and that’s really what I’m looking for,” Brown said at Under Armour Next Football Camp Series: Atlanta the weekends ago. “Taking out a couple coaches, putting in a couple coaches isn’t going to change the whole culture of place.”

Brown did not blow away On3 Director of Recruiting and Scouting Charles Power at the camp in Atlanta, but was still impressed with his skills.
“Touted 2024 linebacker Sammy Brown was also on hand and looks the part physically. Brown did not have his best day in coverage but looks to be a strong athlete,” Power said.
