WATCH: 4-star WR Christopher Johnson scores 80-yard touchdown on opening play

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard four-star wide receiver Christopher Johnson is off to a strong start in the second game of his senior season. On the first play against Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna, Johnson caught a short pass, weaved in between defenders and raced untouched for an 80-yard touchdown.

A 5-foot-11, 178 pound wideout, Johnson is the No. 340 overall prospect and No. 46 wide receiver in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 64 player in Florida.

On3 rates Johnson higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, he is the No. 293 overall prospect, No. 43 wide receiver and No. 55 player in Florida.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Miami has a commanding lead for Johnson’s commitment at 96.7%. He has made multiple visits to the Hurricanes, including for an unofficial on June 25.
