WATCH: 5-star EDGE Keon Keeley records a sack on opening drive

Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star EDGE Keon Keeley is one of the top players in the 2023 cycle. He showcased why on the first drive of his matchup against Tampa (Fla.) Plant.

As Berkeley Prep’s pass rush broke past the line of scrimmage, Keeley was in strong position to get a stop. He eventually did, shedding his blocker and bringing down the quarterback.

Keeley is the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 1 EDGE in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Florida.

On3 rates Keeley higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, Keeley is the No. 3 overall prospect, No. 1 EDGE and No. 1 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-6, 245 pound prospect was previously committed to Notre Dame. However, he decommitted from the Fighting Irish on Aug. 17.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Alabama has the best chance to land his commitment at 70.8%. Florida has the next-best odds at 22.9%. Meanwhile, Keeley is taking an official visit to Ohio State this weekend.
