ESPN’s College GameDay has announced where it will be heading for conference championship weekend. GameDay tweeted on Sunday morning that it will be heading to Atlanta to be on site of the SEC Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.

The game could prove to be a very important one in regards to the College Football Playoff. Georgia has solidified a spot regardless of what happens in Atlanta. But Alabama is far from a lock at this point. If Alabama beats Georgia in Atlanta, both SEC teams will make the playoff. But if Alabama loses, the fashion in which they do will likely play a big role in whether or not Alabama gets a shot at winning a national championship this season.

GameDay will undoubtedly be setting the stage for an important game in Atlanta that could wreak havoc on the postseason picture. Kickoff in the SEC title game is set for 4 p.m. ET.
