ESPN College GameDay will be in East Lansing for Saturday’s matchup between Michigan State and Michigan. Now, GameDay just has announced that actor and comedian Ken Jeong will be joining the set as Week 9’s guest picker.

Jeong and College GameDay will be on site of what should be an exciting and pivotal Big Ten matchup. Michigan comes into the game ranked No. 6, while Michigan State is currently No. 8 in the nation. It is the first time that Michigan State and Michigan have faced off as AP top ten opponents since 1964.

Week 9 begins a pivotal stretch of games for the Big Ten

While Michigan State takes on Michigan in Week 9, Ohio State will host Penn State. Ohio State, Michigan State, and Michigan all have a chance to make noise in the College Football Playoff picture, so picking up quality wins against each other will be pivotal. Whoever comes out of the late season Big Ten gauntlet on top is very likely to find themselves as one of the four teams playing in the College Football Playoff.

Michigan takes on Penn State in two weeks during Week 11. Ohio State and Michigan State face off in Week 12. And Ohio State and Michigan go head to head in the final week of the regular season as Michigan State takes on Penn State.

There will undoubtedly be plenty of excitement on the Week 9 slate, so Jeong and the College GameDay crew should have plenty to talk about and there should be plenty of intrigue surrounding their picks before the action.

There are other intriguing matchups on the Week 9 slate, including Georgia vs. Florida, Ole Miss vs. Auburn, Baylor vs. Texas and more. College GameDay will be live at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday morning to begin kicking off the action in Week 9. Michigan and Michigan State kick off at 12 noon ET.
