WATCH: UCF baseball team trolls Clemson after series sweep with Howard's Rock
This weekend, the UCF Knights baseball team traveled to South Carolina to play the Clemson Tigers. Despite one game being played over two days due to weather, the Knights swept the Tigers over the weekend. To celebrate, UCF decided to have some fun and troll Clemson.
Clemson is known for its iconic entrance during football games, where the Tigers touch Howard’s Rock and run down a hill onto the field. So, UCF decided to try it out.
You can watch UCF baseball troll Clemson, here:
Yup, UCF actually made its way to Memorial Stadium and recreated the entrance in an empty stadium. Once they got to the bottom of the hill, the Knights took a page out of their own football coach, Gus Malzahn’s, playbook, hitting Clemson with a boom celebration.
The TikTok of the troll was originally posted by John Rhys Plumlee, UCF’s quarterback and an outfielder for the Knights’ baseball team. He became the first student-athlete in UCF’s history to start the first game of the season for both the football team and the baseball team. He also hit a home run during the sweep.

UCF wasn’t done trolling Clemson, though, as the team’s official baseball posted its own troll of Clemson.
Talk about adding insult to injury, UCF just declared itself the Tiger king.
Erik Bakich said he inherited an elite roster at Clemson
When Clemson hired head coach Erik Bakich last season, he was incredibly excited about what the future might hold. This was, in large part, due to what he described as an elite roster already being in place.
“There are a lot of really good players on this roster. I can’t say that enough,” Bakich said. “The talent on this roster that coach [Monte] Lee and his staff put together, it’s elite, and we’re excited about working with them.”
