Primer: Big Ten head coaches, star-studded roster set for Wayne State National College Showcase
The Wayne State National College Showcase May 29-30 will have a star-studded roster and record number of head coaches on the field.
Michigan’s Sherrone Moore and Michigan State’s Jonathan Smith will be flanked by their staffs as they evaluate prospects at the two-day event.
Also confirmed is Purdue’s Ryan Walters, Minnesota’s PJ Fleck, Kansas’s Lance Liepold, Illinois’s Bret Bielema, Bowling Green’s Scot Loeffler, Miami’s (Ohio) Chuck Martin, Central Michigan’s Jim McElwain, Eastern Michigan’s Chris Creighton, Kent State’s Kenni Burns and Western Michigan’s Lance Taylor.
Wayne State’s head coach and Michigan legend Tyrone Wheatley and his staff host the event.
There will also be 15 to 20 HBCU’s in Detroit checking out the talent on the field including Alabama State head coach Eddie Robinson Jr.
