Western Kentucky WR Koy Moore enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Western Kentucky WR Koy Moore has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Moore spent this season at WKU after starting his collegiate career with two seasons apiece at LSU and Auburn. He transferred there during the spring window in the last cycle of the portal.
Over 41 games in his five years with the Tigers, the Tigers, and the Hilltoppers, Moore has caught 52 passes for 613 yards and a touchdown. He had his career-best season in his first year on The Plains, which was his third in total, with 20 catches for 314 yards and the lone score. Now, in his lone year in Bowling Green, Moore had a career-worst season. In three appearances, he had only a pair of receptions for 27 yards.
Moore, a native of Metairie, Louisiana, played high school football at Archbishop Rummel. He was the No. 327 overall recruit there as a four-star prospect in the 2020 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as a Top-75 WR in the class and the No. 14 player out of the state.
