Where the top recruits in the 2025 On300 are from
On3 released its second iteration of the 2025 On300 on Monday. It includes a new five-star recruit and some of the top rising sophomores in the country.
So far in the 2025 cycle, California, Florida, Georgia and Texas have the most prospects in the On300. Other states that are developing a high level of blue-chip talent include Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey and Ohio among many others.
Where the prospects in the On300 are from can be found below. States with zero prospects are not listed.
Texas – 53
Top overall recruit: Houston (Texas) North Shore four-star cornerback Devin Sanchez, No. 9 in On300
The Skinny: Multiple top-25 players in the On300 are from Texas, including Sanchez, Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh and Denton (Texas) Ryan four-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood.
Florida – 37
Top overall recruit: Miami (Fla.) Miami Central five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount, No. 5 in On300
The Skinny: Four of the top 20 players in the On300 are from the Sunshine State: Blount, Zephyrhills (Fla.) four-star safety DJ Pickett, Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot four-star quarterback Carter Smith and Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.

Georgia – 33
Top overall recruit: Savannah (Ga.) Savannah Christian Prep five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, No. 2 in On300
The Skinny: Griffin is currently the only Five-Star Plus+ recruit in the 2025 cycle. He and Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County five-star EDGE Zayden Walker are both ranked in the top six of the On300. Three other players from Georgia are also ranked in the top 25 of the On300.
California – 32
Top overall recruit: Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt, No. 22 in On300
The Skinny: Wyatt is the No. 1 linebacker in the On300 and already holds nearly 20 offers from some of the top programs in the country. The Golden State is set for another talent-rich cycle, as 11 top-100 players are from California.
Alabama – 15
Top overall recruit: Saraland (Ala.) five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, No. 3 in On300
The Skinny: Alabama is home to two of the top four players in the country: Williams, who is committed to Alabama, and Birmingham (Ala.) Parker five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord. Three other players from Alabama are ranked in the top 100 of the On300.
Louisiana – 10
Top overall recruit: Metairie (La.) St Martin’s Episcopal School four-star running back Harlem Berry, No. 11 in On300
The Skinny: Berry and New Iberia (La.) Westgate four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine are both ranked in the top 25 of the On300. Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist Academy four-star running back James Simon and Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab four-star linebacker Keylan Moses are other top players from The Pelican State.
Tennessee – 10
Top overall recruit: Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre, No. 16 in On300
The Skinny: MacIntyre is not only one of the best players in the nation, but also a top signal-caller with over 30 offers. Other talented sophomores in Tennessee include Germantown (Tenn.) four-star athlete Jamarion Morrow and Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School four-star athlete Cameron Sparks.
Maryland – 9
Top overall recruit: Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy four-star defensive lineman Trent Wilson, No. 43 in On300.
Mississippi – 9
Top overall recruit: Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County four-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, No. 13 in On300
