The Mississippi State Bulldogs (4-6, 1-6) are hosting the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles (3-7, 2-5) this weekend in Davis-Wade Stadium.

After the firing of head coach Zach Arnett on Monday, Mississippi State interim head coach Greg Knox will aim for his second win as the interim signal caller for the Bulldogs. Southern Miss is coming off a pair of wins on the shoulders of bell-cow running back Frank Gore Jr.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
