Which prospects will sign during the early signing period?
The early signing period for basketball begins tomorrow on November 10th and lasts through the 17th.
This gives high school seniors the opportunity to sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI), and lock in their scholarship offer. In essence, players are fully pledging themselves to the university and making it official. Players can be later released from their NLI, usually in the case of a major coaching change, but for a variety of other reasons as well.

So, why do some players not sign early, despite already being committed to a school? There are several reasons. Maybe the player wants to see how the upcoming season goes, who will leave to join the pros, or who else will commit. Worst-case scenario, the player is second-guessing their commitment.
I asked each of the players in the On3 100 if they would sign early.
