WR AJ Logan commits to Boise State: 'They’re all about loving one another there'

San Diego (Calif.) Mount Miguel is becoming a school each college coach who visits southern California wants to stop at. Head coach Verlain Betofe has top recruits in multiple classes there and one is wide receiver AJ Logan. He has over a dozen offers and he has committed to Boise State.
“Coach Spencer Danielson offered me a scholarship last Wednesday and that was my first time there,” Logan told On3. “The atmosphere and environment were great. They have great people, a great staff, and as far as football, it is very competitive, very family oriented and very well connected.”
It didn’t take Logan long to make his decision. After getting the offer, meeting with the coaches and getting a feel for the program, he knew he wanted to be a Bronco.
“I took some time to think about the offer and I’m all. Committing to Boise State is what I want to do. They have amazing resources and I love the way they operate in a very competitive way, but also family-oriented and a very connected environment. They’re all about loving one another there.”

Arizona was the biggest competition, but his time on campus and meeting with Danielson, Stacy Collins and Matt Miller made this decision both quick and easy.
As happy as Logan is about his future, the staff in Idaho has to feel the same.
“Boise State is getting one of the best receivers in the state of California,” Betofe said. “AJ has the best set of hands I have ever coached at wide receiver. He is a game-changer who always makes the big play. AJ is special and I think if he keeps developing he will play on Sundays.”
