WR Jaden Nickens sets commitment date
Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Jaden Nickens has set his commitment date. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound playmaker moved from Oklahoma to California over the summer and he is down to Cal, Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
He will choose from one of those schools next week.
“I will commit on Nov. 14 at Sierra Canyon at 11am PT,” Nickens told On3.
What will his decision come down to?
“I want to play football and basketball in college, so that is a big factor. Relationships are important too. Having a chance to play early is something else I am looking at.”

Nickens was once committed to Oklahoma before backing off that pledge in March. He has an official visit scheduled to Kansas on Nov. 23. He was at Cal for a game earlier this season. Arizona State is a school not in his top five that he has been communicating with as well.
The On3 Recruiting Machine favors Kansas.
Nickens is the No. 370 overall prospect and No. 55 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s ranked as a three-star prospect in basketball by ESPN.
