March Madness is a wild time, one when upstarts in the NCAA Tournament can create a wave of euphoria and build new followings very, very quickly. Just ask the Yale basketball team.

After upsetting Auburn in the first round of the Big Dance on Friday, the Yale Bulldogs have become the darlings of the NCAA Tournament.

Many fans have reached out to show their love on Twitter. Only many of them have had the wrong Yale account, in hilarious fashion, at that. Yale had multiple official school Twitter accounts reach out on Sunday to correct the mistake.

You can watch the tournament live on Prime Video, add on your favorite channels and watch at home or on your phone and laptop at work!

Essentially, fans were tagging @YaleMBB in trying to love up the Bulldogs.

One small problem: That’s Yale’s molecular biophysics and biochemistry account, not the men’s basketball account. You can’t even make that up, right?

In any case, Yale will be looking to continue its historic run in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday night against 5-seed San Diego State. Yale is in the NCAA Tournament for only the seventh time in school history.

It’s only the second time that Yale has reached the NCAA Round of 32, though the program also made an Elite Eight appearance in 1949 before the tournament’s later expansions.

If the Bulldogs hope to continue their march, they’ll have to be on point against the Aztecs. San Diego State reached the national championship game a year ago, so they’ve got plenty of experience.

Yale is led by a well-balanced scoring effort, with five players averaging double figures scoring on the season. Forward Danny Wolf leads the charge with 14.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals per contest. He stuffs the stat sheet.

Guard John Poulakidas averages 13.5 points per game, next best on the team.

San Diego State will enter the game as a 5.5-point favorite, according to lines listed by FanDuel. Yale and San Diego State will tip off at 9:40 p.m. ET with a broadcast on TBS.
