Over 100,000 fans packed into Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday to see the No. 1 ranked team play. Texas was hosting Louisiana-Monroe in its final nonconference game of the 2024 season before getting into SEC play. Arch Manning was making his first career start as well, which was a big moment for the program.
Plenty enjoyed the comfortable win while maybe sipping on a few drinks to cool off. Even a young child got in on the action, drinking her mother’s Michelob Ultra. In a video posted to X, the child is seen taking multiple huge sips of the beer.
The mother is described as “oblivious” to what is going on during the moment. If you look to the child’s right, big sips are being taken out of a water bottle by another kid. Maybe just copying her brother with a completely different drink.

To this point, no follow-up information has been provided on the information. Based on the tweet from Ruggs, the mother was told at one point. But by the time somebody said something, the Michelob Ultra was completely gone.

Steve Sarkisian praises Texas QB Arch Manning for responding to interception
Arch Manning made his first career collegiate start this weekend in place of an injured Quinn Ewers. Helping lead top tanked Texas to a 51-3 win over Louisiana-Monroe while also battling some adversity in the process.
The former five-star prospect threw his first career interception during the first drive of Saturday’s game, followed by a second interception heading into halftime on a pass that bounced off the hands of his intended pass catcher. But his head coach, Steve Sarkisian, was impressed with how the redshirt freshman showed resiliency when he took center stage.
“One thing that he did really well Saturday… A year ago after that pick, that might have taken a minute for him to rebound from. I thought he responded really well mentally,” Sarkisian said during his press conference. “I thought his poise and composure was really good Saturday. Even after the pick at the end of the first half, to come back in the second half and play the way he did in the third quarter I thought was impressive for me from a maturity standpoint of how far that he’s grown.”
