Zion Elee, nation's No. 1 recruit, visits Auburn for junior day
The nation’s top prospect in the 2026 On300 made his way to the Yellowhammer State this weekend.
Joppa (Md.) St. Frances Academy five-star EDGE Zion Elee visited Auburn on Saturday for the Tigers’ first junior day for the class of 2026.
Elee has been committed to home-state Maryland since Dec. 7, but he has some connections to the program on the Plains.
“I know a little bit about the program at Auburn,” Elee told On3 earlier this month. “A lot of my teammates are already there. Tell me all about it, so I will learn about it during the visit.”
Junior Day updates from Auburn Live can be found HERE.
Although Elee will take visits as his recruitment progresses, he told On3 in early January that he remains locked in with the Terrapins.

“Feeling great about Maryland, I’m committed there, I feel home,” Elee told On3’s Chad Simmons at the Under Armour All-America hotel check-in. “I’ve gained a better relationship with the coaches after committing, too. I’m in communication with them all, talking to them more, I’ve actually been down there after the commitment and they showed me a little more love.”
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Elee is the nation’s No. 3 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 1 EDGE in the class and the No. 2 recruit from the state of Maryland.
On3 is the lone major recruiting service to have Elee ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
