5430 Foundation launches, providing efficient NIL collective for Colorado football

MARCH 26 2024 UPDATE: Colorado consolidated its NIL collectives, merging the 5430 Foundation and Buffs4Life NIL Collective into the newly formed 5430 Alliance. Both collectives are folding operations into the new initiative, which will be operated by Blueprint Sports. The newly formed 5430 Alliance received the seal of approval from the CU Athletic Department and will support all 300-plus athletes at the school with a special emphasis on the football program. PREVIOUS INFORMATION: Colorado-focused 5430 Foundation was founded in September 2023 by longtime donor and Buff alum Eric Belcher. He previously served as the CEO of a payroll and services company, which acquired a number of businesses during his tenure. So when Colorado was brought back into the national spotlight with the hiring of Deion Sanders, Belcher started to think about what the former MLB and NFL superstar would need. His business background kicked into gear, immediately organizing a group of fellow donors to act – by the launch of the 5430 Foundation.
