Bulldog Bread was launched in the fall of 2022 with a focus on supporting Fresno State student-athletes in NIL pursuits. “Bulldog Bread is an exclusive member-driven marketplace that provides individuals the opportunity to support student-athletes in their collegiate careers,” the collective’s website says. “Bulldog fans can now connect to student-athletes and athletic programs like never before through NIL opportunities, allowing our student-athletes to monetize their individual and collective brands.” The collective is spearheaded by former NFL and Fresno State football player Chris Pacheco. “It’s basically an opportunity for small businesses, fans and the general public to support these players in their endeavor through their time at Fresno State,” Pacheco said in a news release.
