The Collective Association pushes back on NIL Congressional drafts: 'They don't want reform'

The Desert Takeover Football Collective was launched in July 2023 with an entire focus on supporting Arizona Wildcat football athletes in the NIL space. The collective, which is run by collective operating company Blueprint Sports, is being run as a nonprofit. The Desert Takeover Football Collective will operate in conjunction with the existing Friends of Wilbur and Wilma collective, but Wilbur and Wilma now shifts its focus to support other student athletes at UofA. The Desert Takeover Football Collective has full support from the Arizona athletic department and the football coaches. The collective is spearheaded by former Arizona football player and NFL player, Ray Wells, who serves as the Executive Director for the collective.
