Empower the Nest - Illinois State Redbirds Collective

Founded by a group of business owners and Illinois State alumni and supports, Empower the Next launched on Aug. 25, 2022. In a press release, Empower the Nest says it's the first all-sport NIL collective in the Missouri Valley Conference. Nathan Hinch registered Empower the Nest as a not-for-profit corporation three days before the collective officially launched. In addition to helping Illinois State athletes with their NIL opportunities, the collective says it will provide professional development opportunities.
