Hall Hands on Deck launched in February 2023 as an NIL collaborative supporting Seton Hall University student-athletes. Hall Hands on Deck, a nonprofit corporation, was established by a “group of volunteer alumni and fans who saw the opportunity for Seton Hall to thrive in the NIL era.” The collective says it will enable Seton Hall student-athletes to “succeed on and off the court, while offering support for surrounding communities.” Hall Hands on Deck offers educational programs, athletic camps and charitable events, and each event will be an occasion for Seton Hall student-athletes to use their NIL to promote and participate in the event. According to its website, Hall Hands on Deck has no paid employees and “will never take fees from member contributions.” The collective says it relies on “volunteers to keep administrative costs low and fully expects that 95% of every donation will go to student-athletes.” In its first 12 days of being active, Hall Hands on Deck raised $20,000 toward its goal of $100,000. The funds were a result of 30 supporters of Seton Hall.
