Hatters Collective Group - Stetson Hatters Collective

The company Athletes First Initiative (AFI), which supports NIL collectives, announced launched Hatters Collective Group (HCG) in January 2023 after the collective made an announcement on Twitter in June 2022. HCG is the first collective supported by AFI, which is focused on collectives at the mid- and low-major level in Division I, plus Divisions II and III. HCG's website states, "Hatters Collective Group is an NIL Collective that was created with one mission in mind — to empower Stetson University student-athletes to achieve their greatest potential, by building and leveraging their personal brand for success." Hatters Collective Group's website says it provides for-profit NIL opportunities, while the Lids Collective Group is the not-for-profit collective arm that connects Stetson athletes with their communities through community service projects and clinics. Hatters Collective Group's website says 85 to 90 percent of contributions will go directly to Stetson athletes.
