Lifetime Cardinal - Stanford Cardinal Collective

Allen Thorpe formed the Lifetime Cardinal collective to help Cardinal student-athletes with NIL activities. While other collectives have elaborate websites and massive social media presences, Lifetime Cardinal says it’s “going to do this the right way” and run the collective according to the rules but with a Stanford twist. Thorpe sees Lifetime Cardinal as more than an NIL conduit to Stanford athletes. He intends for the collective to organize summer internships, career services and investment opportunities for Stanford athletes. Along those lines, Thorpe said that Lifetime Cardinal is starting out as a for-profit entity. He hopes the collective can lure corporations to tap into its Stanford talent pool for more than endorsements. The collective already has created NIL partnerships with members of the football team, and men's basketball team and is also working closely with the women’s basketball program.
