Shakas Up Sports NIL Collective - Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders Collective

The Shakas Up Sports NIL Collective was launched in March 2023 to support the student-athletes at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with their NIL efforts. “Our collective offers unique opportunities for athletes and businesses to thrive together,” the collective said when it was launched. “With resources and support, student-athletes can leverage their influence while brands connect with an engaged audience. At Shakas Up Sports, we’re committed to fostering meaningful relationships that redefine the future of sports marketing.” The collective says it aims to support athletes in all sports, but initially the focus seems to be on the successful men’s and women’s basketball programs.
