The Hilltop Club launched in September 2022 to help develop NIL opportunities for athletes at the University of San Francisco. The Hilltop Club's website states, "Our local, USF booster club ensures Dons student-athletes will benefit from the new NIL ecosystem by creating innovative NIL partnership opportunities that will attract and retain, high-profile student-athletes." The collective says it's focused on three pillars: corporate partnerships and endorsements, appearances and social media campaigns, and charitable causes. There are individual memberships, starting at $1,000, and business memberships that start at $5,000. The Hilltop Club appears to focus on men's basketball, with players Khalil Shabazz and Tyrell Roberts quoted on the collective's website. The collective announced on Twitter that founder Matt Quinlan met with members of the university's compliance department as well as AD Larry Williams.
