The Kingdom NIL - UCF Knights Collective
Launched in April 2022, The Kingdom NIL was created to be the destination for UCF student-athletes to capitalize on and monetize their NIL while providing an opportunity for major Knight Nation donors to contribute and engage with the players and programs they passionately support. The UCF-focused collective says it had more than $1 million pledged when it launched. In March 2023, Mission Control – another local collective – announced it was merging with The Kingdom and throwing all of its support behind the group. A few days after the merger, former UCF football chief of staff Sean Tuohy Jr. was named the new executive director for The Kingdom. “The Kingdom NIL aims to be among the nation’s leading major donor supporter-funded NIL platforms to position UCF Athletics and student-athletes from all sports for sustained success,” the collective said in a press release when it launched. “Various NIL promotion opportunities will be available to UCF student-athletes, including social media endorsements, digital appearances, autographs and digital content.” The Kingdom NIL says it has a group of Advisory Board members comprised of business leaders, UCF alumni and former student-athletes. However, no names are publicly listed on the collective’s website. The collective says about 99% of the money pledged will go to student-athletes.
