The O Foundation was formed to directly address Ohio State men's basketball's NIL need. While The Foundation -- formed by Brian Schottenstein and Cardale Jones -- has dished out deals to players, this new collective has backing from multiple former basketball players. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit was founded by Ron Stokes, a former captain and current on-air analyst for the Ohio State radio network. The mission of the new organization is to, "Raise awareness for charitable causes - by partnering charities with community-minded Ohio State student-athletes." So far, The O Foundation has announced plans to do charitable partnerships with After-School All-Stars, A Kid Again and the Columbus Urban League.
