The Panther Collective - Northern Iowa Panthers Collective

The Panther Collective launched on Feb. 14, 2023, as a non-profit corporation "with the goal of helping the University of Northern Iowa Men's Basketball athletes in amplifying their NIL opportunities by contributing their time and talents through work with non-profits, being active in our communities, and providing mentorship to future generations," according to the collective's website. Its website says the collective has applied for 501(c)(3) status. The collective announced in a press release that it posted on Twitter that it has raised $65,000 and "partnered with all eligible players currently on the Men's Basketball roster." The Panther Collective said it projects that 95 percent of the money raised will go to Northern Iowa athletes. The collective said it will rely entirely on volunteers. Donors can contribute one-time donations or subscribe through monthly or annual memberships. Monthly memberships are available for $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000. Memberships will provide access to memorabilia, meet and greets, private events and more.
