LSU forward Angel Reese is hosting a back-to-school giveback block party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at her alma mater Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore. Reese used her NIL rights to promote the event, including on X.

“Bring all the kids out August 19th!” she tweeted. “LET’S GEAUX.”

After leading LSU to its first-ever women’s basketball national title last season, Reese has become one of the biggest names in sports. She received the ESPY for Best Breakthrough Athlete and she was named BET Sportswoman of the Year.

The Angel C. Reese Foundation is sponsoring the back-to-school event. Reese announced the launch of her foundation in July. The foundation’s goal is to empower women and girls through sports.

The block party will provide giveaways such as school supplies, backpacks, food and personal hygiene items. A DJ will perform and there will be bounce houses.

Reese was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player and a first-team All-American last season. She averaged 23 points and 15.4 rebounds while shooting 53% from the field.

The Tigers went 34-2 on the season, including 17-0 at home and 15-1 in regular-season conference play.

Angel Reese’s On3 NIL Valuation

Angel Reese has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.6 million. That ranks No. 6 in the On3 NIL 100 and it ranks No. 1 among current women’s basketball players.

The On3 NIL Valuation utilizes a proprietary algorithm that calculates a high school or college athlete’s projected annual value in the NIL landscape. It incorporates the athlete’s Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index.

The Brand Value Index factors in the role of regional and national sponsorships, while the Roster Value Index incorporates the role of NIL collectives nationally.

The On3 NIL Valuation doesn’t measure the value of the NIL deals an athlete has earned.

Reese is among a handful of LSU athletes who ranks highly in the On3 Women’s NIL 100. LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne ranks first with an On3 NIL Valuation of $3.3 million. Reese ranks second. She’s followed by her teammates Flau’jae Johnson, who ranks third at $1.1 million, and Hailey Van Lith, who ranks No. 6 with an On3 NIL Valuation of $546,000.
