Texas quarterback Arch Manning auctioned off his first NIL trading card in July, breaking a Panini America record in the process.

Now he is announcing where the proceeds will be going. The former Five-Star Plus+ recruit’s trading card was auctioned off for $102,500 and all the proceeds will be going to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. In total, the card received 36 bids. He made the announcement at a check presentation on Tuesday.

At the time of the auction, Panini announced proceeds from the sale were going to a Central Texas nonprofit with the help of St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation

“When I first partnered with Panini to auction off my trading card, I wanted the money to go to a good cause,” he said at Tuesday’s press conference. “Helping children live healthy and fulfilling lives was important to me and my family. With that being said, I’m donating 100% of the proceeds from my trading card to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.”

The Ronald McDonald House provides lodging and support services for families with children in Central Texas Hospitals.

The auction winner, who was not identified, was able to have a meet and greet with Manning, while also catching passes from the quarterback. Plus, they are participating in Tuesday’s check presentation to the Ronald McDonald House. The record price paid for a Peyton Manning card is $71,988.88.

The auction was only the first step in Manning’s relationship with Panini America. Before the start of the college football season in August, he released seven new trading cards. The variety provided the opportunity for every type of trading card collector to purchase a card.

Panini has quickly become a notable name in the NIL space. Along with its partnership with Arch Manning, the trading card company has deals with Quinn Ewers and 2024 Five-Star Plus+ shooting guard Tre Johnson. In recent weeks, it has signed notable deals with USC receiver Zachariah Branch, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze and Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton.

Arch Manning’s growing brand

The freshman quarterback is still only in the first year of his college career. He’s yet to play in a game, however, the talent is obviously there. Manning finished this spring’s Orange-White game 5 of 13, facing constant pressure from the Texas front seven.

The grandson of Archie, son of Cooper, and nephew of Peyton and Eli has a $2.8 million On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks No. 4 in the On3 NIL 100, which is the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation. It is also the top-ranked On3 NIL Valuation in college football.

Arch Manning is just getting started in building his NIL brand. He has more than 276,000 social media followers and also has the option to partner with his superstar uncles in NIL ventures. Eli and Peyton run Omaha Productions together and the Monday Night Football Manningcast runs multiple times throughout the NFL season.
