K-State QB Avery Johnson shows off 'one-of-a-kind' lavender Corvette through NIL deal
Thanks to his longstanding NIL partnership with Long McArthur Luxury, Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson is riding through the Little Apple in style.
Long McArthur Luxury – which initially announced its partnership with Johnson ahead of the 2023 football season –shared photos on Friday of the signal-caller’s new ride.
“When one of our athlete partners requested a custom, one-of-a-kind lavender Corvette, we made it happen,” the dealership shared on social media.
“Avery Johnson will be riding around in style this season. Who’s ready for the season to start?”
Johnson is one of the most popular people in Manhattan right now.
The former four-star recruit and home-state hero played in eight games as a true freshman in 2023. His first true start came in the Pop-Tarts Bowl against NC State, earning MVP honors en route to leading the Wildcats to a 28-19 victory.

Avery Johnson builds strong NIL brand
With Will Howard transferring to Ohio State, Johnson is now the face of the K-State program, and businesses – like Long McArthur – have eagerly signed him to NIL deals.
Along with his agreement with the Wildcat NIL, the K-State-focused NIL collective, Johnson recently released his own merchandise and is promoting local Kansas companies like WTC Fiber and Booth Creek Wagyu through additional activations.
Johnson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $256,000, and he’s quickly building a strong social media presence with more than 87,000 followers.
The On3 NIL Valuation is calculated by combining Roster Value and personal NIL. Roster value is the value an athlete has by being a member of his or her team at his or her school, which factors into the role of NIL collectives. NIL in an athlete’s name, image and likeness and the value it could bring to regional and national brands outside of the scope of NIL collectives.
