B1G rivals Luke Goode, Caleb Furst use NIL to host basketball camp
Even though they’re from Fort Wayne, Ind., Illinois forward Luke Goode and Purdue forward Caleb Furst play for rival schools. But they’re not rivals today because they’re using NIL to host a basketball camp together.
The camp is taking place at OPS Fitness Club and will be available to students in third through 12th grade. It’s actually the second year they’re running this camp. Last summer, with NIL rules changing, was the first that they were able to run a camp like this. The big difference year-to-year is that last year’s event was a one-day camp. This is a four-day camp.
“I remember when both of us were in this position of going to camps like this, so it’s almost a full circle thing,” Goode said to WANE-TV.
The camp started Monday and runs through Thursday. The focus of the camp is skills and drills.
Goode and Furst’s On3 NIL Valuation
Running camps like this was one of the original things that NIL was always supposed to allow. Both Luke Goode and Caleb Furst have solid On3 NIL Valuations. This means that opportunities like this are going to be available to both of them.

Goode’s On3 NIL Valuation is $26,000. His 22,000 followers on various social media platforms give him an On3 Per Post Value of $438. Furst, meanwhile, has an On3 NIL Valuation of $23,000 and his 17,400 followers give him an On3 Per Post Value of $306.
More opportunities will be available for both players, as they continue to grow their brand through social media and on the court. As they create more opportunities, their On3 NIL Valuations will continue to increase. That’s because the three key factors in the On3 NIL Valuation are an athlete’s social media, their on-field or on-court success, and their previous NIL deals and future access to new deals.
