Stanford's Cameron Brink signs NIL deal with New Balance
Stanford senior forward Cameron Brink signed an NIL agreement with New Balance. She’s the first women’s basketball player to do so.
“I am honored and excited to join forces with New Balance,” Brink said in a statement. “Their ability to empower athletes perfectly aligns with my own values, and I look forward to this journey with them. I hope we inspire athletes around the world to fearlessly pursue their dreams.”
As a junior in the 2022-23 season, Brink earned numerous All-America honors. She was also named the WBCA Defensive Player of the Year and Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Plus, she was a Naismith Trophy finalist.
Brink averaged 15.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 1.8 assists as a junior. The Cardinal went 29-6, earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament for the third year in a row.
She helped Stanford win the national championship in 2021.
Brink will appear in New Balance campaigns “from lifestyle to performance,” while also working alongside the company’s footwear and apparel design teams to “influence future products,” according to the news release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cameron as the first female basketball player to join the New Balance family,” New Balance Head of Basketball Sports Marketing Naveen Lokesh said in a statement. “Cameron’s exceptional skill on the court and her desire to give back align perfectly with New Balance’s desire to change the game for the better. We are excited to support Cameron reaching new heights in her career and contributing to the growth of women’s basketball for years to come.”
Brink and New Balance will also participate in “community-driven initiatives” to help young, female athletes. NBA players Kawhi Leonard, Jamal Murray, Zach LaVine and Dejounte Murray have also partnered with New Balance.

Cameron Brink’s NIL profile
Cameron Brink has an On3 NIL Valuation of $200,000, which ranks No. 8 among current women’s college basketball players.
The On3 NIL Valuation utilizes a proprietary algorithm to calculate the projected annual value of a high school or college athlete’s NIL opportunities over the course of 12 months. It incorporates an athlete’s Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index. Brand Value Index factors in regional and national sponsorships, while Roster Value Index incorporates the role of NIL collectives nationally. While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
