For the first time in history in the state of South Carolina, a Gamecock and Tiger are starring in an NIL campaign.

Star wide receivers Xavier Legette and Tyler Brown have signed NIL deals with Priority One Security. As part of the campaign, the duo is starring in a new commercial for the Southeast-based security company. In the ad, Legette and Brown will be featured as Priority One specialists, engaging with customers and emphasizing the message that trust is key with Priority One Security.

Everett Sports Marketing and Park Ave played a major role in procuring this partnership, conceiving the innovative concept, and executing the creative vision that brought together the athletes and Priority One Security. Park Ave is a sports marketing firm dedicated to soliciting NIL deals for South Carolina athletes; it’s funded through small-dollar membership fees from the Carolina Rise collective.

“Priority One Security is excited to partner with these student-athletes and all they have accomplished on and off the field,” Priority One Security president Bill Francis said in a statement. “ESM and Park Ave’s expertise and innovative approach were instrumental in bringing this collaboration to life.”

ESM reps a range of top NIL talent, including Brock Bowers and Haley Cavinder.

“This groundbreaking collaboration not only unites competitors but also signifies the strength of collaboration, underscoring a mutual dedication to community safety and connectivity,” Park Ave and ESM agent Chaise Belt said. “Deals of this nature exemplify the relentless efforts put forth by ESM and Park Ave on behalf of our athletes.”

Viewed as one of the nation’s top wide receivers, Legette has 1,187 receiving yards on 65 catches with seven touchdowns for South Carolina. He was named a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist on Monday. The former three-star recruit has a $550,000 On3 NIL Valuation, which ranks in the top 70 of college football.

“Joining forces with Priority One Security is an incredible opportunity to expand my horizons beyond football and make a difference in people’s lives by promoting safety and security,” Legette said.

Just a freshman, Brown has emerged as a key weapon in Clemson’s offense with 46 catches with 479 yards and four touchdowns. The Greenville native committed to Clemson last November after previously being committed to Minnesota.

“Partnering with Priority One Security allows me to connect with our community in a different way, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding what matters most to individuals and businesses,” he said.
